Nedēļā, kad Latvijā tiek atzīmēta Starptautiskā ģimenes diena, 20. maijā Elejas muižas parkā notiks Jelgavas novadā vēl nebijis pasākums – jauniešu laikmetīgās mākslas festivāls “KULTŪRAUGS”.

Šīs sezonas lielāko pasākumu Jelgavas novadā aicinām apmeklēt kopā ar ģimeni, jo daudzveidīgajā programmā ikviens Jelgavas novada iedzīvotājs un viesis atradīs savai gaumei un interesēm atbilstošu nodarbi.  Laikmetīgās mākslas performances, kopienas teātra izrāde “Abras stāsti”, ekspedīcijas “Grauda stāsti” brošūras atvēršana, iedvesmas stāsti un diskusijas ar sabiedrībā zināmiem cilvēkiem - mākslas kuratori Tīnu Pētersoni, aktieri Niklāvu Kurpnieku, influenceri Niklāvu Mičuli, mākslinieci Alisu Bluzmani (“Bluzart”), mākslas terapeiti Līgu Cepurīti -, animācijas filmas pirmizrāde, keramikas un rotaļlietu darbnīcās tapušo darbu izstāde, Raku keramikas apdedzināšanas krāsns, Jelgavas novada jauniešu centru aktivitātes: viktorīna par teātri, mūziku un mākslu, repa meistarklase ar Artūru Jenotu, improvizācijas teātra meistarklase, virtuālā realitāte, hennas tetovējumi un grafiti māksla un daudz kas cits! Pasākuma balss – Toms Grēviņš.  Noslēgumā atraktīvās grupas “Citi zēni” koncerts.

Pasākuma ietvaros notiks Jelgavas novada jaundzimušo sveikšana. Šoreiz aicināti 97 mazuļi, kas pasaulē nākuši laika posmā no  2022.gada 1.oktobra līdz šī gada 1. martam. Mazuļi saņems simbolisku dāvanu – sudraba monētu, kuras reversā ir attēlots bērna pēdiņu nospiedums ar tekstu „Nes Jelgavas novadu pasaulē!”, savukārt monētas aversā redzams Jelgavas novada ģerbonis.

Pasākumā tiks godināti arī jaunieši, kuri pērn snieguši ieguldījumu brīvprātīgā darba veikšanā kādā no pagastiem, izglītības iestādēm, jauniešu centriem un konkrētiem projektiem jaunatnes darbā, olimpiāžu un profesionālo konkursu laureāti, kā arī skolēnu video konkursa “4. maijs. Jelgavas novada iedzīvotāju atmiņas par Atmodas laiku” dalībnieki.

Pasākuma teritorijā būs pieejama telpa mazuļu aprūpei. Ieeja pasākumā - bez maksas.

Pasākums norisināsies EEZ projekta “Kultūraugs”, Nr. EEZ/2022/2/18 ietvaros, ko finansē Islande, Lihtenšteina un Norvēģija, izmantojot Eiropas Ekonomikas zonas grantus 130 189 EUR apmērā.

"Culture Plant" is a contemporary art festival for youth that will take place on 20 May in the Eleja Manor Park in Jelgava Local Municipality, Latvia. It is a previously unseen event in the municipality and coincides with the celebration of International Family Day in Latvia.

The festival aims to bring together people from Jelgava and its surroundings, offering a diverse program that meets the interests and tastes of every resident and visitor. The event will feature contemporary art performances, a community theater play "Abras stāsti", the opening of the "Grauda stāsti" (Grain Stories) expedition brochure, inspirational stories and discussions with well-known people in society, such as art curator Tīna Pētersone, actor Niklāvs Kurpnieks, influencer Niklāvs Mičulis, artist Alisa Bluzman (Bluzart), and art therapist Līga Cepurīte. Other highlights include the premiere of an animated film, an exhibition of ceramic and toy workshop creations, a Raku ceramic kiln, activities organized by the Jelgava Local Municipality youth centers (including a quiz about theater, music, art, a rap workshop with Artūrs Jenots, an improvisation theater workshop, virtual reality experiences, henna tattoos, graffiti art, and more), and a concert by the popular group "Citi zēni" to conclude the event. The festival will be moderated by Toms Grēviņš.

During the festival, there will be a ceremony of welcoming newborns of Jelgava Local Municipality. This year 97 babies are invited, which are born between October 1st, 2022, and March 1st, 2023, have been invited to participate. The newborns will receive a symbolic gift, a silver coin featuring the imprint of a baby's footprint on the reverse side, along with the text "Nes Jelgavas novadu pasaulē!" (Bring Jelgava Local Municipality to the world). The obverse side of the coin displays the coat of arms of the municipality.

During the event also young people who have made significant contribution to voluntary work in municipality, educational institutions, youth centers, or specific youth projects will be awarded. Additionally, winners of youth competitions, Olympiads, and professional contests will be awarded, as well as participants of the students’ video competition "4. maijs. Jelgavas novada iedzīvotāju atmiņas par Atmodas laiku" (4 May: Memories of the Awakening Time from Jelgava Local Municipality Residents).

The goal of the project “Culture Plant” is to improve access to professional contemporary art and culture for children and youngsters in Jelgava Local Municipality (JNP), to promote and increase their involvement in creation of new art and cultural products.

Implementation period: 01.10.2022.-30.06.2023.

 

The project is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants in amount of 130 189 EUR.
